How can I save the game?
This game supports both manual save and autosave.
Manual Save
You can manually save your game at certain locations such as the sofa in the Security Room or the mall's public restrooms.
Autosave
The game will automatically save your progress during your gameplay at certain points.
A save icon will be displayed on the bottom left corner of the screen during an autosave, so please do not exit the game or turn off your system until the icon disappears.
Can I create a backup of my save data?
You can create a backup of your save data by uploading it to Steam Cloud.
*Game operations are not guaranteed with save data backups that were created from your local storage.
Where can I use the contents included in the pre-order bonus and/or the Deluxe Edition?
The costumes and BGM tracks included in the pre-order bonus and the Deluxe Edition can be used in-game at the following:
- Costumes can be changed at the closet in the Security Room in the game.
- BGM can be changed via "Change Mall BGM" which can be reached from the Pause Menu > SYSTEM > OPTIONS > AUDIO.

Important Notes
- Game operations with onboard graphics card and other devices that share VRAM with the main memory are not guaranteed.
- The game may not run properly with mobile GPUs meeting the minimum/recommended system requirements, as the level of GPU performance on mobile GPUs will drop greatly compared to those of regular GPUs.

Is the game content the same as other platform versions?
There are partial difference due to the specification for the hardware and controllers, but the basic game contents are the same. For the full list of differences, please refer to this FAQ.

The game does not run properly, for example, the game does not launch.
When the game does not run properly, please try the general troubleshooting steps.
- The necessary execution file "DRDR.exe" for the general troubleshooting steps is installed to this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DEAD RISING DELUXE REMASTER
- The above is the default installation path.
- Please note, if you're using a muti-GPU setup such as NVIDIA's SLI or ATI's Crossfire technologies, we recommend disabling these settings.
- If you are using these settings, they may cause compatibility issues with the game.
- The game may also not run properly if the in-game graphics settings are higher than your PC specs. Please try the following procedures to lower your in-game settings and confirm whether the issue will resolve.
How to lower your graphics settings
- Close the game if it is launched and ensure that the game is not running.
- Right-click on the title of this game listed in your LIBRARY on Steam Client, and open "Properties..."
- Open the Installed Files tab and click on "Browse..."
- Rename the "config.ini" file to "config_backup.ini"
- Create a copy of "config_default.ini" and rename the copy to "config.ini"
- Go to your Steam Client and click on PLAY to run the game
