The button icons and the actual controls do not match when playing with my Nintendo Switch/Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller
You can change the button icon display from the in-game settings to best match your Nintendo Switch Pro Controller or Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller by going to Options > Controls > Controller Button Icons > Type 5. However, please note that the A and B button may be swapped, as well as the X and Y button, if your “Use Nintendo Button Layout” is enabled on your Steam Client.
If your controller does not match with the controls applied to these button icons even after changing the Controller Button Icons to Type 5, untick the checkbox for “Use Nintendo Button Layout” on your Steam Client from Settings > Controller.
Game Content
Is it possible to apply downloadable content that is licensed for use in a different country than the base game?
Normal game operations are not guaranteed if/when game software, hardware, or additional content is not from the same country/region, nor when data is shared with other software that is intended for use in a different country/region. Please ensure that all game software, hardware, and any additional content is registered and matches with the country/region you reside in.
Also, normal game operations are not guaranteed when using a digital code for the digital version of the game and additional content intended for use in a different country/region. Please be sure to use digital codes with an account registered to the same country/region.
Examples of when normal game operations are not guaranteed are listed below:
- When playing with a console from a different country/region
- When playing a game software from a different country/region
- When playing with save data created with a game software from a different country/region

There are partial differences due to the specifications for the hardware and controllers, but the basic game contents are the same.

A monster was not added to the restoration slow despite performing Habitat Restoration
To restore a monster population for high rank Monsties, you must release more than one Monstie and perform Habitat Restoration several times for the monster to be added to a restoration slot.
I cannot transfer save data for the trial version to the full game.
Only your save data on Slot 1 can be transferred to the full game. If you only have an autosave data, your save data cannot be transferred.
*You can save manually from a Catavan Stand.
I want to start over from where I left off in the trial version.
If the game performs an autosave after starting a new game in the full game, you can no longer transfer your save data to the full game. As the autosave slot cannot be deleted in-game, please delete your save data for the full game from the hardware settings and try launching the game again.
*Please take precaution that you do not accidentally delete your save data for the trial version when doing so.
How can I use fast travel?
You must progress through the main story up to a certain point to unlock fast travel. Fast travel can be used in the following ways:
- Ride a Catavan from a Catavan Stand
*To fast travel to a destination in a different locale, press the L1 and R1 button / L and R button (or Q and E key for keyboard) to change maps
- Press the left directional button (or N key for keyboard) in the field
*To fast travel to a destination in a different locale, press the L1 and R1 button / L and R button (or Q and E key for keyboard) to change maps
- Select a fast travel destination from the Map Menu
*To fast travel to a destination in a different locale, go to Open Other Map > World Map in the Map Menu
