Can I create a backup of my save data?
Backups of save data can be created using the following instructions depending on the platform:
PlayStation 5
You can create a backup of your save data by uploading it to the PlayStation Plus cloud storage.
*A PlayStation Plus membership is required to access the PlayStation Plus online storage. For more details, please contact the manufacturer of the console.
PlayStation 4
You can create a backup of your save data by uploading it to the PlayStation Plus cloud storage.
*A PlayStation Plus membership is required to access the PlayStation Plus online storage. For more details, please contact the manufacturer of the console.
Xbox Series X|S
You can create a backup of your save data by uploading it to the cloud server for the Xbox service. For more details, please contact the manufacturer of the console.
Nintendo Switch
You can create a backup of your save data by using Save Data Cloud.
*A Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to access Save Data Cloud. For more details, please contact the manufacturer of the console.
Steam
You can create a backup of your save data by uploading it to Steam Cloud.
*Game operations are not guaranteed with save data backups that were created from your local storage.

Notes:
- Normal game operations with an onboard graphics card and other devices that share VRAM with the main memory are not guaranteed.
- The game may not run properly with mobile GPUs meeting the minimum/recommended system requirements, as the level of GPU performance on mobile GPUs will drop greatly compared to those of regular GPUs.
Steam - What controllers are supported
Normal game operations are guaranteed with the controllers listed below.
- Xbox One controller
- Xbox Series X|S controller
- PlayStation 4 wireless controller (DUALSHOCK 4)
- PlayStation 5 wireless controller (DualSense)
- Keyboard*

Steam - The button icons and the actual controls do not match when playing with my Nintendo Switch/Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller
You can change the button icon display from the in-game settings to best match your Nintendo Switch Pro Controller or Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller by going to Options > Controls > Controller Button Icons > Type 5. However, please note that the A and B button may be swapped, as well as the X and Y button, if your “Use Nintendo Button Layout” is enabled on your Steam Client.
If your controller does not match with the controls applied to these button icons even after changing the Controller Button Icons to Type 5, untick the checkbox for “Use Nintendo Button Layout” on your Steam Client from Settings > Controller.
PlayStation - Can I share or transfer my save data between the PlayStation 4 version and the PlayStation 5 version of the game?
If you have save data on the PlayStation 4 version of the game, you can transfer it to the PlayStation 5 version. However, you cannot transfer save data from the PlayStation 5 version of the game to the PlayStation 4 version.
- Save data can only be transferred from the in-game option.
- Save data must first be transferred from the PlayStation 4 system to the PlayStation 5 console storage.
- Any data saved with your PlayStation 5 version will be overwritten by transferring save data from the PlayStation 4 version.
To transfer save data from the PlayStation 4 version to the PlayStation 5 version, select Transfer PlayStation 4 System Saved Data from the Options menu.
Xbox - Can I share or transfer my save data between the Xbox One version and the Xbox Series X|S version of the game?
Yes, you can share save data by creating a backup of your save data to the cloud server for the Xbox service. For more details, please contact the console manufacturer.

What are the differences between this version and the original version of Mega Man Star Force Legacy titles?
The basic game content including the main story are the same as the original versions (Nintendo DS). The major differences are listed below:
- Adjusted UI and controls
- Added new difficulty and assist settings
- Features artwork and soundtracks in the new Gallery menu
- Added high-resolution filter
- Included Bonus Cards that were only available from special real-life events and toys
- Added online features with improved quality-of-life features for online matches
Is the game content the same as other platform versions?
There are partial differences due to the specifications for the hardware and controllers, but the basic game contents are the same.
Note: Crossplay and cross-saves between platforms are not supported.
