Can I create a backup of my save data?

Backups of save data can be created using the following instructions depending on the platform:

PlayStation 5

You can create a backup of your save data by uploading it to the PlayStation Plus cloud storage.
*A PlayStation Plus membership is required to access the PlayStation Plus online storage. For more details, please contact the manufacturer of the console.

PlayStation 4

You can create a backup of your save data by uploading it to the PlayStation Plus cloud storage.
*A PlayStation Plus membership is required to access the PlayStation Plus online storage. For more details, please contact the manufacturer of the console.

 

Can I share or transfer my save data between the PlayStation 4 version and the PlayStation 5 version of the game?

If you have save data on the PlayStation 4 version of the game, you can transfer it to the PlayStation 5 version. However, you cannot transfer save data from the PlayStation 5 version of the game to the PlayStation 4 version.

  • Save data can only be transferred from the in-game option.
  • Save data must first be transferred from the PlayStation 4 system to the PlayStation 5 console storage.
  • Any data saved with your PlayStation 5 version will be overwritten by transferring save data from the PlayStation 4 version.

To transfer save data from the PlayStation 4 version to the PlayStation 5 version, select Transfer PlayStation 4 System Saved Data from the Options menu.

 

Game Content

What are the differences between this version and the original version of Mega Man Star Force Legacy titles?

The basic game content including the main story are the same as the original versions (Nintendo DS). The major differences are listed below:

  • Adjusted UI and controls
  • Added new difficulty and assist settings
  • Features artwork and soundtracks in the new Gallery menu
  • Added high-resolution filter
  • Included Bonus Cards that were only available from special real-life events and toys 
  • Added online features with improved quality-of-life features for online matches

 

Is the game content the same as other platform versions?

There are partial differences due to the specifications for the hardware and controllers, but the basic game contents are the same.

Note: Crossplay and cross-saves between platforms are not supported.
