To transfer save data from the demo version of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, players must first make sure they create a manual save slot. To save manually, visit your room and save at the bed.
Once you have this save, an option should automatically appear in the main menu of the full-game to transfer the save data.
