How can I resume my gameplay when my character loses?

When you resume your gameplay from the game over screen, the game will start from your last auto-save. If you wish to continue from where you manually saved your progress at a magic mirror, exit the game over screen and select a save slot you wish to load by selecting Load Game at the title screen menu.

The item pack I received as bonus content disappeared when I started a new game.

You can only obtain the bonus item pack once during your first playthrough. After this, you can no longer obtain them again, including when you start your second playthrough and when you start a new game for the second time regardless of the difficulty level.

Where can I listen to the Orchestra Album Selection Pack I received as bonus content?

Select Special Features > Gallery > Original Soundtrack to access the Orchestra Album Selection Pack from the title screen menu.
